I always shoot SSF on the range.

I use the heavy .223's in my AR. I like them.
By the way: 300 .30cal GS bullets cost me $375 🙁 🙁 🙁

Roedale in Germany offers the barrel nut system. He's just started offering this system for Tikka, Howa and Remington.

The idea of using a .308 magzine in a .223 T3 crossed my mind the first time I made some pictures.
I do not know why I didn't do anything with the idea. Luckily you still thought of it!!!

I'm just curious. Can one use a .338 magazine as a SSF in a .308?

Use the right glue. Put the magazine top and bottom together without the spring when the glue is dry enough.

You're now ready to test your home made SSF. ;D

Take the plate and glue it in the right angle and height you marked in the magazine.
Check te height at the back of the magazine with the marking on the dummy.

Pic3-A: The dummy should fall through the opening you made.

Pic-3:Remove the 2 plastic strips on the sides on top of the magazine with a file so that you can easily put a .223 in the opening you made.

This small opening is needed to work with the magazine catch in the stock. It holds the SSF in place.

Yukonal: You have to figure out what angle the .223 needs.

Here are some pic. of the SSF I made for my CZ527.

You can easily make it your self. I made one of aluminum for my CZ527.
It took me two hours to make it.  Polymer is even easier.

The stock is great! I love shooting it. With reloaded ammo I get 0.4moa at 100m semi open shootingrange.
