Hoppes no. 9 is fine for cleaning the oil out, but also follow up with dry patches and get the Hoppes out too. Did you clean that out first? If not, clean thoroughly with a good solvent and then use dry patches. Then shoot again. If it does the same thing then go back to the dealer with it and explain the problem. </p>
