									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class = "activity-discussion-title-wrap"><a href="https://tikkashooters.com/discussion/stamped-or-etched-markings/">Stamped or Etched Markings?</a></p> <div class="bb-content-inr-wrap"><p>My son bought a T3x Hunter this summer and I bought a T3x Compact a few weeks ago. Both are 6.5 Creedmoor with 24.3&#8243; barrels. His has etched markings on the barrel and mine has stamped  markings.</p>
<p>Does anyone know why and if there is any significance to the difference? Both appear and function identically otherwise. </p>

I don&#8217;t really want to add any weight, but I&#8217;m addicted to accuracy, so I may have to go for it. My son bought the wood stocked Hunter version a couple of months ago and it&#8217;s a little more accurate. Both are 6.5 CR with 24.3&#8243; barrels.  I&#8217;m looking forward to your results this weekend.  </p>

<p><span>I just bought a T3x Compact (my first Tikka) and am thinking about upgrading the stock.  How is the weight of the Boyds stock? Is it much more than the synthetic Tikka stock?</span></p>
