Was it one of our lugs? We designed them to be oversized so if it is loose, it means your stock was damaged from the previous lug's inability to handle recoil.
I would bed it with the mating surface towards the butt of the stock. Use something strong like Devcon and you should be good to go.
Any movement in the lug and you will definitely see accuracy issues.
