I don't own a Tikka…… yet, but I would for sure stick to lefty if that's what you shoot. If found some on gun broker and other such sites yoh should check out, especially if a barrel is something you want, you'd just need a stock and action to be decent.
As for 223, I think it's a good round, lots of options, lots of reloading data, etc. I have a Winchester 70 in 223, and the options for ammo, subsonic, match, bullets, etc is daunting. Hence my next rifle is going to be a Tikka in 308, purely for options in ammo, especially since I plan on tinkering with suppressed.
Just like you, sorting through the Tikka rifle options now.
I have a savage 110 Tactical in 308 in left hand. It shoots really good I just want a smaller round to mess around with.
