My only reply is regarding ammo. You can get on sale 6.5 creedmore ammo from prime ammo on sale and it is the very best
You can also get 260 ammo from prime but it will cost much more for the same bullet weight. I have never seen 260 ammo on sale from prime, creedmoor goes on sale a couple times a year.
This is not a comparison between the calibers, just an observation. Both using 130 gr nosler Golden bullets.I shot my last deer with prime ammo and it was not spectacular. On the other hand the loads 6.5 creed were first rate
