It would be nice to see bullet manufacturers build some high B.C. bullets for this nearly forgotten, highly neglected caliber. I'm not saying the 257Wby specifically, but the 257cal in general. If it can be done with both the 6mm as well as the 6.5mm, then surely it's possible to make long skinny wind defying 257cal projectiles. I believe a whole new furry of wildcatting would take place. Any of the current cases used to house 6mm and 6.5mm bullets, would surely spit any 257cal bullet out at substantial enough velocity to make it a viable, multi weight, high B.C. production option. JMHO. God forbid companies support the first caliber to ever break the 3000fps barrier!!!
