The guys have mentioned some good brakes for recoil reduction but I have throw the Vais style brake into the mix if you are looking for the best screw on brake for both accuracy and recoil reduction.
For me it's proved to provide the best accuracy time and time again and it does not need to be timed like other ported brakes…not the greatest for pron off the ground but great for bench shooting.I tested many different types on my 308 CTR and 300wsm and both now sport Vais style brakes…
