There are several rifles chambered for this caliber: 280 Rem, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm Rem Short Action Ultra Mag, 7mm Winchester Short Mag, 28 Nosler, just to name a few. All of these are plenty for elk. I&#8217;ve hunted with a 280 Remington for years.
