Thanks! thats not the rifle itself just the stock, I'll post the rifle pics in a few weeks. PSE stocks come in at about 500Euros in a range of colours, real quality stuff.

Thanks Todd, when I get the gun I guess I should do the same, may as well start off doing it right!
must start hand loading too, 30-06 isn't a hugely common calibre over here in the UK, .308 much more popular it seems, so if I start to hand load I should be able to open up the full potential of the Tikka – though from what Ive read and heard, the… Read more

Plan to use the rifle for some stalking and a bit of target shooting, I mainly use my .243 for stalking, its got a 19″ lightweight barrel, and a pes over barrel moderator and gets hopelessly hot after 3 shots so no good on the range, though great on the Roe and foxes. so thought I'd go for a heavier profile in 30-06.
